Ted DiBiase Discusses the Absence of a Language Barrier in Japanese Wrestling

Ted DiBiase, a WWE Hall of Famer, discussed the lack of a language barrier when wrestling in Japan on the ‘Everybody’s Got a Pod’ podcast. He explained that many Japanese wrestlers, including big stars like Giant Baba and the Funk family, developed their wrestling skills in the United States and learned the basic wrestling language in English. This enabled them to communicate effectively in the ring, using terms like ‘one tackle drop down, get it again’ to coordinate their moves. So, the language barrier wasn't a significant issue in the world of Japanese wrestling.
